A handmade commuter E-bike built in-house. Made of high-tensile strength Vanadium Steel and brazed with brass for added strength. We designed this bike around the right-to-repair so that this E-Bike will last a lifetime. The motor systems are modular meaning you can swap out motors to your liking without dealing with a proprietary motor system. The components are common and can be repaired or replaced, the batteries are modular. You can even take off the motor and battery to create a standard analog bike.
We designed the DoubleDown with a passive suspension system by creating cantilever style rear seat stays for flexibility that helps to absorb impacts from the road and a floating seat post for additional impact absorption. Reach speeds up to 28mph with pedal assist and up to 20mph with a thumb throttle. The DoubleDown features an integrated custom made front basket.
